our divisions

three houses. one mission.

Each division of Salt House Africa carries its own leadership, colour and methods — together, they hold the full arc of inclusion work: from the street to the boardroom to the state.

community

salt house community

Salt House Community is where inclusion meets everyday life. We work at the grassroots — in neighbourhoods, campuses and markets — to confront tribal discrimination, disability stigma and the quiet exclusions that keep people out of public life. Through fellowships, dialogue, storytelling and an annual awards platform, we give people the language, the evidence and the agency to change what happens on their own street.

business

salt house business

Salt House Business helps organisations move from good intentions to measurable practice. We train leadership and product teams, embed as consultants inside change programmes, and run independent audits of workplaces, digital services and events. The output is never a slide deck alone — it is a prioritised, costed plan that a company can actually deliver against, and a membership network to keep it honest.

governance

salt house governance

Salt House Governance holds public institutions to the standards they set for everyone else. We publish inclusion gap reports, build the capacity of ministries and agencies, and run two flagship projects — Roads for People and DigAcc — that make physical infrastructure and public digital services usable by citizens with impairments. Evidence first, then training, then oversight that does not go away.
