A 3-month intensive fellowship that raises leaders and advocates for inclusion inside organisations and in the community. Champions learn to identify local exclusion patterns — from electoral marginalisation to disability stereotypes — and are equipped with facilitation techniques, basic accessibility auditing, and the tools to organise community dialogues that lead to real policy or practice change.

Each episode unpacks a single theme through the perspective of someone living it, released as audio and short clips designed to travel across community WhatsApp groups and local radio.
The Africa Inclusion Awards celebrate individuals, organisations and public institutions whose work measurably advances inclusion across the continent. Nominees are assessed against evidence, not intention — audited accessibility improvements, published inclusion policies, community-verified outcomes — and the ceremony doubles as an annual convening of an accountable peer network.
Beyond Borders addresses tribal and ethnic discrimination at grassroots level, connecting practitioners across African communities and cities to compare notes on what actually works. Rather than treating each context as unique, the project maps recurring patterns and builds a shared library of tested interventions that can be adapted and re-deployed quickly.
Roads for People advocates for and trains government ministries to ensure public infrastructure — roads, transport interchanges, health facilities and civic buildings — is accessible for persons with impairments and vulnerable citizens. We combine site assessments, ministry training and published findings so accessibility becomes a procurement standard, not an afterthought.
DigAcc ensures public digital services are accessible to citizens with impairments and meet the WCAG 2.1 standard. We test government portals and service apps against real assistive technology, publish the gaps, and work alongside digital teams to remediate them — so an online public service is genuinely available to every citizen it was built for.
Every project on this page is oversubscribed. With funding and partnership we can take fellowships into more states, test more public services against WCAG 2.1, and put accessibility assessments in front of more ministries.
